Alana Gallardo

Alana is passionate about helping others find the healing and wholeness they need to move forward in freedom and to live a fulfilling and abundant life. She seeks to provide unconditional positive regard without judgement, so that others feel safe and seen for who they truly are. With gentle compassion and a serene demeanor, Alana considers it an honor to come alongside others as they process their struggles, providing wisdom and the tools they need to enhance their relationships with others and with God. 

Alana holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Religious Studies from Vanguard University of Southern California and a Masters of Science degree in Marital and Family Therapy from Fuller Theological Seminary. Alana has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, couples, adult individuals, families, and ethnically diverse clients in churches, private practice, school, and community mental health settings. As a Christian Counselor for Breath of Life, she has a heart for serving children, families, couples, and premarital couples, specializing in attachment, self-esteem, grief, loss, trauma, spiritual formation, anxiety, and depression. Alana is a certified facilitator of Prepare and Enrich Marriage Inventory, an assessment tool used to help premarital or married couples identify the strength and growth areas in their relationship.

Alana lives in Los Angeles where she has served in the ministry for 19 years and today passionately serves as a worship leader at her church.
