Our Counselors

Sandy Vasquez, M.A.

Sandy Vasquez is a Pastoral Counselor at Breath of Life, passionate about empowering individuals to break free from generational cycles and embrace their God-given identity. Having personally walked through some of life’s darkest valleys—physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually—Sandy brings a unique blend of theology, psychology, and her own story of redemption into her counseling practice. She believes that true transformation begins when individuals recognize their worth, purpose, and healing in Christ.

Sandy holds a Master of Arts in Pastoral Counseling with a focus on Marriage and Family Counseling from Liberty University. She also earned a dual Bachelor of Arts in Child Development and Family Life Education from California State University, Long Beach.

In addition to her counseling work, Sandy founded a Wellness Center (Counseling Ministry) at RTLA Church, where she leads the counseling team and serves as an Executive Pastor. Through her leadership, she equips individuals and families with the tools needed to experience emotional, spiritual, and relational healing.

With deep empathy, wisdom, and a faith-centered approach, Sandy creates a safe and transformative space where individuals can break free from the past, walk confidently in their identity, and step into a future of restoration and wholeness.
